Plague Domes

I thought I was a guy who had everything a guy could want, but I was wrong. I want a set of these winners.

Unfortunately, it appears that good sense (or bankruptcy) has prevailed, and "plague domes" are no longer available.

Pity. I have so many questions about them, too.

What did the "boil-dome" or the "frog-dome" look like? If you shake the "darkness-dome", do you have to wait 3 days to shake it again? How do you know who's a first-born in the 10th "dome"?

Where are you finding this stuff?

Don't you have major papers to write? Oh yeah, I remember, the escape moments where you don't want to think about grad school!

Jim,

Indeed I do have lots of writing to do. And, yes...you remember the escape moments well.

I have a final due by 1 a.m. Saturday, 5 cases to close at Counterpoint by Tuesday, and a book review due by a week from today. That "bbbbbb" sound you hear is me, playing with my lips.

Cheers!

Yes, you are escaping! Keep it up. This stuff is funny.

On another note, our weather here reminds me of playing indoor golf at that place down Merriman and losing golf balls under the screen, spitting Cokes out of our mouths watching Tony's wacky swing... amongst other things. We have indoor golf here at a place called Pappy's, no thanks, I'll just wait a few days until the weather is good again.

Did I ever take you to the golf simulator place in Roseville called "Joc's Trap"?

I'm not making that name up. That's what it was called. That's where I lost a real golf ball on a simulated golf course.

How bad does a golfer have to be to accomplish that? And how desperate does a golfer have to be to play at a place called "Joc's Trap"?

How 'bout breaking a driver on a gold simulator . . . at Merriman all the while leaving after smoking a pack, not because you did, but because the foursome next to you and the marshalls all were.

I want to know where you find this stuff too!!!

So, hey, I'm the guy that made the plague domes and I still have about 300 of the Locusts one left. If you are interested shoot me an email. I mean, if you really are that kind of guy.
