Tigers payroll: $86 million.
Tankees payroll: $164 million.
That sure is a lot of money to spend on humiliation.
Poor fellas...you've had a rough week. Treat yourself to an extra bag of peanuts on the plane ride home.

Anybody but the Spankees
...even the Detroit Tigers.
I guess this will be the one post-season I'll get behind the Tigers.
And not just because they've taken a series from the Crankees already (which means that they can do it again), but because they're a very good ball club this year.
Okay, so Kenny walked in the winning run Sunday afternoon...and there's really no excuse for that. But let's keep in mind which team holds the dubious distinction of the biggest choke in the history of professional sports...and let's not forget who handed it to 'em.
Sox forevah! But Let's Go Tigers...
Cheers!

Can't think of a title
I can barely think of anything to post, let alone come up with a title for whatever appears here.
Things have gotten busier since the paper shorts. Mornings are spent at the church office. Then, sometime around 1 or 2 in the afternoon I take the drive to Counterpoint. So far, things seem to be balancing out okay. I have 3 or 4 clients as of this writing, but more are on the way...I've been assured of that. In the meantime, it seems that the pressure to make sure that all of the stuff I'm juggling stays up in the air has me wanting to put added emphasis on the youth ministry. The danger, of course, is that I might start trying to "burn the candle at both ends" as they say. If that happens, then something will have to go for a while, and it will likely be breadbox, at least for a few months. Thankfully, this part of the degree only lasts for a year...and you know how time flies when you're busy. So, time is certainly flying. October was upon me before I realized it wasn't August any more.
Cheers!
